McHenry County Retired Teachers Association

The McHenry County Retired Teachers Association, a local unit of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association, is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization of  retired teachers. MCRTA serves the needs and interests of its members through advocacy, cooperation, and socialization in a flexible organizational structure. The Board usually meets a week before the scheduled group meeting. The history of MCRTA is filled with great leaders, special members, scholarship winnerss,  and memories. Scholarships for future teachers are available to McHenry County residents attending county public high schools or M.C.C. Noon luncheon meetings are held 9 times a year at different sites in McHenry County.
